The AP44 is a 4,400 lb. user-directed AMR that autonomously handles floor-to-floor pallet transportation. An operator selects a mission from the onboard touchscreen, and the AP44 does the rest. It maps its environment, dynamically avoids obstacles, and can be wirelessly called from anywhere on the floor. When you need manual control, it switches modes on the spot.

No infrastructure changes. No floor modifications. A wi-fi connection is all it needs to get to work.

360° Visibility
Overhead dual 3D LiDAR sensors enable the AP44 to map its environment, navigate dynamically, and detect obstacles in real time. It builds a picture of your floor and updates it continuously as conditions change.

Full Sensor Package
Fork tip cameras enable automated pallet entry, pick-up, and drop-off with precision. The AP44 knows where the pallet is and hits it cleanly, every time.

Clear Vision
Optical cameras enhance movement accuracy and support ongoing learning. The more the AP44 runs your routes, the better it knows them.

Simplicity Meets Capability
An intuitive onboard touchscreen gives operators the ability to generate maps, assign missions, activate and edit workflows, and communicate with the fleet. 

Always on Call
Call the unit wirelessly to any location, check its real-time position, and get an estimated time of arrival without leaving your station.

Hands-On or Hands-Off
Operate in manual, semi-autonomous, or fully autonomous mode. The AP44 runs like a conventional pallet truck in manual mode, so your operators are never locked out of the equipment.

How Deployment Works

Most autonomous systems ask you to modify your facility before the first unit ever turns a wheel. The AP44 works differently.

A Big Joe team member comes to your facility for initial setup, handling mapping and configuration so the AP44 runs correctly from day one. There are no floor modifications and no reflectors required. A wi-fi connection is all the infrastructure you need.

Once it's running, the AP44 integrates with your WMS and ERP systems for autonomous planning or operates independently if you're not connected yet. It scales as your needs grow.
